Saturday started around 9.00am at The Menzies Hotel.
Apparently some of the ladies went for a walk around Sydney Harbour at 6.30am!!!!
In the back corner, Cath and Kath from Material Obsession held their mini workshops. I signed up for the wedge ruler. It was great to see all of Kathy's quilts up close.

The lovely Bron and Wendy from QLD. 
And I had the pleasure to sit next to the beautiful and creative Saffron Craig. 
We all received the BEST sample bag with goodies donated by Retro Mummy, Ric Rac, Posie Patchwork, Hawthorne Threads, Pink Chalk fabrics, The Remnant Warehouse, Material Obession, Kelani, Chasing Cottons, Saffron Craig, The Oz Material Girls, Claire's Craftroom, Plushka, Prints Charming... and the list is even bigger... I must take a picture of the goodies!!
