Melly and Me Designs - Sew Little patterns - Mini Mover

So I am reading facebook and notice that Melly is looking for test sewers....

I always wanted to do that.

Thinking to myself - it has been over 10 years since I have sewn any clothes -

Who cares - Just do it!!.

And here it is..... but wait...

Melly writes back and said that I had sewn it wrong.....

Can you see where??

Well as I am reading her email... my face went "RED"...

I had sewn the crotch upside down!!!

What the!!!!

Melly said that is why they get test sewers.... she told me just to smile.

Her pattern was perfect. I was making an outfit for a baby with long legs!!

Melly kindly sent me some of her cute fabrics and I made another one.

Here it is.... cute hey.

Now you can see the mistake....

And this is Owen - my supermodel...

Well we all make mistakes - I wonder if she will ever invite me to sew again!!

Here it is all wrapped up - so cute.

It is a journal cover.... wow Janelle's sewing is just so beautiful and neat...
I purchased it from Janelle's etsy store...
I LOVE the ric rac inside.

Even better they were on special for $5.00.Another block finish - The Flower Pot People (Natalie Ross).

I am on a roll. I just LOVE school holidays... more time for sewing!!

I am back!!!

Christmas 2010.

Well I am back... Happy New year.... it has been so busy around my house with the kids still on holidays.....

I had the whole family over for Christmas Lunch...

Just before Christmas.... went into the city to see the Nutcracker at the Opera House... as you can see my "dancing" daughter was so excited... but my son... well another story.My husband give both myself and my daughter a single rose...
